Life is busy. Finding time to fit in training is hard. We will work together to find the most impactful workouts for you to reach your goal and also work on ways to find time to squeeze it all in.
Coaching is not just about giving you a training plan and hoping you stick to it. I will check every workout to make sure they are being done properly and if not, we can work on another plan, if needed. When you succeed, so do I.

As much as I try to picture every eventuality in my training plans, there will always be people that have specific requirements. Others may just want to talk through ways to find time to train in their already busy lives. We can have a one off phone call before I create your bespoke 3 month training plan.
This is my entry level coaching option. Basically, we have an initial call to discuss goals, current fitness, etc. I then create a 4 week training block for you that I monitor almost daily and make adjustments if needed. We contact through WhatsApp and TrainingPeaks during the block and have a 20 - 45 minutes call at the end of each block.
This level of coaching not only give detailed bespoke training plans that are monitored at an almost daily rate, we also look at your diet, stress levels and recovery/sleep patterns. It will be hard to fail with this level of coaching

I’ve been there
So you want to achieve a big goal but you don't know where to start, how you should be eating or even how you're going to fit the training into your already busy life.
I wasn't always a cyclist. I know what its like to start from the bottom and the feeling of overwhelm that can come from searching the web to try to find the "best training plan".
Fast forward a couple of decades of cycling and continuous learning and I'm now a cycling coach that has ridden numerous ultra-distance rides.
I know what its like to train through busy times in your life and I feel this gives me a great advantage as a coach.
It's been a long road to get here and I loved every bit of it.

I started a program with James after months of unstructured training where I wasn’t making much progress at all. I found the methods provided helped me to get into a easy routine with session lengths and workouts that tested me enough to see progress but not overdo it. The reason I looked for a coach was to increase my power to help me keep with my club mates and on fast Sportives. In the 1st 8-10 weeks with James he helped me to push up my ftp by 12% which has made a massive difference to my cycling. The zoom calls are very good and shows a lot of data and charts that are not on garmin or strava and James explained these charts very well. I had an issue with a hamstring and James gave me 5 or 6 detailed stretches and this has worked wonders for me. All in all I would highly recommend James as a coach as he seems to have endless knowledge and is very approachable with any queries
